System


The System is the default user interface of the DSM. It provides status information about the networked devices and allow the user to activate actions on selected devices, such as toggling the LED light, streaming and audio file, activating the camera, etc.


The main window displays the list of the devices discovered by the PDD. After the log-in the DEVA System Manager shows the latest saved network configuration: clicking on the Discovery button in the main toolbar realign the view with the actual network configuration.


The list of connected devices is organized in a table that shows all main status parameters:



  1. Nickname: The name of the device
  2. Connected: The connection status: once the DEVA has been discovered, the DSM displays a green check flag if the device is properly connected, or an exclamation point otherwise.
  3. Zone name: Displays the name of the Zone that collect the DEVA listed below.
  4. Data uploaded: Displays if the contents (audio file, schedules, events, etc.) stored in the device are properly aligned to the DSM configuration.

  1. Battery: Displays the battery charge status
  2. Camera: Displays the camera status: if the DEVA is equipped with a photocamera or a videocamera, the cell displays an icon when the device is active.

  1. Light: Displays the light level of the LED lamp installed on the device. If the lamp symbol is shown, the LED lamp is on at the specified light level.
  2. Mute: Displays a green check flag if the device is muted (no sound is produced)
  3. Volume: Displays the actual master volume expressed as the attenuation in deciBel respect the maximum volume
  4. File volume: Displays the volume attenuation in percent respect the master volume for single file playback
  5. Playlist volume: Displays the volume attenuation in percent respect the master volume for playlist playback
  6. Streaming volume: Displays the volume attenuation in percent respect the master volume for streaming playback
  7. Radio FM volume: Displays the volume attenuation in percent respect the master volume for FM radio playback
  8. Activity status: Displays the current activity performed by the device
  9. Guard mode: Displays a green check flag if the device is set in guard mode
  10. Last guard mode event
