--What is the best way to simultaneously control the volume level of the 4 outputs on an X4 using an iOS or Android device? Think of this as a master volume control.
--Is there Armonia software to install on a mobile device?
--Is WiFi the only option, or is it possible to connect an iOS or Android device via RJ45?
--Is there a remote volume solution that does not involve iOS or Android?

(note: for this application, a laptop is not an option because it requires booting/waking)

Good Morning jaynyc,

I'll answer step by step:

1)To control the 4 outputs volume using an IOS/Android device the best solution is to join the four channels in a single speaker. (you need to set it via Armonía, than you'll be able to disconnect Armonia and use the mobile device only)
2)Armonía software is now available only for desktop pc/notebook and stuff like Windows Surface
3)You can connect also using an RJ45, and you'll be able to reach the X-series panel using your browser and the device IP for the LAN port (you can see it from Armonía, or setting a static IP from the X-panel) Both the wi-fi and lan board can work simultaneously, but they must be on different subnet.
4) You can find out a Volume Control modulating the Input signal to the amp.

Contact me if you need more details.

Can you explain in detail about #1 - how to create a speaker in Armonia to control the output level of all speakers/subs via IOS?

thank you

Good Morning Jaynyc,

to create speaker in Armonia you can follow the brief video-tutorial you can find here:

The graphical layout of some views is slightly different but all the functions and operation are exactly the same.
If you still have any doubt, just contact me.

Hi Michele. This doesn't work for me because by combining all speakers into one, I lose my matrix routing.

Feature request: Wifi web interface to support Advanced Groups

Dear Jay,
We are working to cool updates for our Armonia software.
Controlling AdvGroups with the Onboard Webapp is not possible because Advanced groups are entities created and managed by armonia, a single amplifier is not aware of group belonging to other devices.
The only solution is to html remote the view of Armonia, so having a sort of pc server to which you can connect with anything.
We are also working of allowing the connection of your tablet/smartphone to the amp also with the usb cable rather than only with the wifi.
Hold on and you'll be rewarded :)
